Katnook Gas Processing Facility

Beach Energy ltd | South Australia

Overview

The Katnook Gas Processing Facility Project was built to process well fluids from the Haselgrove 3 well and produce sales quality gas for the south-east of South Australia’s gas market.

The existing processing facility was demolished to make way for a completely new facility which Enscope undertook on an EPCM basis for Beach Energy. The new plant has an operational capacity of 10 TJ/d and was constructed on the same footprint as the former Katnook Gas Plant.

Project activities executed by Enscope included concept design, FEED, detail design, Project Management, Construction Management, Completions and Commissioning.

The Project was completed without any recordable MTI/LTI incidences under Enscope’s Health, Safety and Management Systems utilising many local and regional contractors. This Facility was design, built and commissioned in a little over 12 months from FID.
