Overview
The ATCO Gas HP28 Pigging Project required live pipeline modification to install pig launcher and receiver assemblies and remove in-line obstructions to allow in-line inspection of the pipeline via the use of intelligent pigs.
Enscope provided detailed design and project management services to complete the Project in conjunction with ATCO Gas.

SCOPE
- Modification of the start and end of line of the CL600 HP28 DN350 pipeline
- 1 x DN350 hot tap, stopple and bypass was required to support the pipeline modifications and ensure no interruption to gas flow for ATCO’s customers
- Pipeline design included contingency options to manage expected clashes with existing buried assets that could only be identified during the construction phase
