Northern Gas Pipeline
JEMENA | NORTHERN TERRITORY & QUEENSLAND
Overview
The Northern Gas Pipeline connects the Amadeus Gas Pipeline (at Tennant Creek, NT) to Carpentaria Gas Pipeline (at Mount Isa, QLD). NGP achieved interconnection between the Northern Territory’s gas pipeline network and the east coast gas network in January 2019.
The natural gas pipeline runs 622km from Tennant Creek to Mount Isa and includes a gas processing facility and two compression facilities. It has a current gas transmission capacity of 92 TJ/day.
