Kupe Gas

Origin Energy/Technip Alliance

The Kupe Gas project (New Zealand) produces 70 TJ/day of sales gas, 315 tons per day of mixed LPG and up to 15,000 barrels per day of condensate. It included a remotely operated unmanned off shore platform, with MEG injection and methanol dosing for hydrate inhibition, a 30km subsea pipeline with HDD shore crossing, an onshore production facility including slug catchers, amine sweetening, molecular sieve de-hydration, mercury guard bed, refrigerated NGL adsorption, export compression, LPG storage and road tanker export, condensate stabilisation, condensate storage and road tanker export, MEG regeneration and de salting and a 12km sales gas pipeline.

Enscope’s key roles and services included:

  • Punchlist and completions management.
  • Site supervision of completions.
  • Pre-commissioning co-ordination and supervision.
  • Development of completions metrics and the monitoring and management to finalisation of this scope.

7 Mile Power Station

OSD Pipelines / SKM / Rio Tinto Iron Ore

The 7 Mile Power Station project (Western Australia) involved the EPC delivery of an AS2885 licensed gas pipeline, including the associated inlet facilities, gas conditioning, flow metering, heating and B31.3 piping to four off GE LM5000 Gas Turbines. The installation included full multi-disciplinary scope of work in compliance with rigorous RTIO “Ironsafe” systems and procedures.

Enscope’s key roles and services included:

  • Off-site fabrication supervision
  • Participation in RTIO Fatality Prevention Program.
  • Site mobilisation and sub contractor co-ordination
  • On-site construction management, scheduling and reporting.
  • On-site construction supervision.

Ashburton Meter Station

Dampier Bunbury Pipeline

The Ashburton Meter Station project (Western Australia) involved the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) delivery of a new meter station on an existing Brownfields site. The installation included the completion of a number of shutdowns to tie into the existing plant whilst maintaining production requirements. The project was fast tracked in order to maintain the client’s supply agreements.

Enscope’s key roles and services included:

  • The preparation of engineering documentation.
  • The development of a shutdown schedule and reporting of shutdown works.
  • Project engineering.
  • Mechanical engineering.
  • Site construction client representation.
